Starfish Room

The children aged 3 years and upwards have so much fun learning through play in our bustling Starfish Room, providing the children with curiosity invoking learning opportunities all throughout the day. There are always plenty of varied activities for children to explore both inside the classroom and outside in the main garden during free flow play all day. In our Starfish Room, the children play lots of games and listen to stories to help them with emotional regulation and being able to express the big feelings that all young children experience. They explore a variety of maths activities, love playing on the computer, and problem solving with various construction resources and through arts, crafts and messy play experiments. The Starfish Room provides the children with an inspiring and enriching learning environment to build on their confidence and resilience during their last step at nursery, before their next adventure begins as they leave for school.
